2018 started on a high in Scotland for Prolight!

This year has kicked off to a super busy start with 2 exciting shows under our belt in January! Both Plasa Focus and SDJS were held in the vibrant city of Glasgow, Scotland.

Plasa Focus Glasgow:

Following on from previous Focus shows Glasgow was no exception. The show was held at the Scottish Event Campus, one of the top arenas in the world, and attracted a healthy footfall. Many existing and new customers visited our stand, ranging from professional installers of 100V line through to production companies looking for their latest stock additions.

This year we demonstrated our new range of moving fixtures from eLumen8. The feature-packed Evora series were really well received and provide a choice of fixtures to use in a wide variety of applications whether you want to produce unique lightshows or enhance existing installations.

The new Spectra Q exterior series from LEDJ were also featured at the show. These IP65 rated rugged fixtures with 45° beam angles, DMX control and OLED display will smoothly wash facades or foliage in deep rich colours or warm pastel tones. In fact the Q40 and Q15 are becoming fast favourites are already heading into rental markets.

Scottish DJ Show 2018:

This is one of the most anticipated shows in Scotland and this year proved no different! Our stand proved to be as busy as ever with a large number of visitors from one-person operations through to big events companies. Showcased for the first time was our new Equinox Spark Stream which certainly took centre stage, although not due into stock until March a number of existing and potential customers showed great interest in this soon-to-be top seller.

This year, we made sure our stand featured fixtures from varying price points giving attendees an insight into what products we have in our portfolio, and the differences between mid-budget and high-budget fixtures. A large number of DJs commented on the way, as a company, we listen to our customers’ needs. This was proven by the unveiling of the starcloth and overhead kit options for the ever-popular truss booth system, which was discussed at a Scotland AMPDJ meeting last year.

For its second year running the show has certainly grown and we look forward to working with the organisers for 2019.

Keep an eye out on our website for information on future shows we will be exhibiting at across the UK.
