The iconic Production Park was one of many key event industry locations to be part of the #LightItInRed campaign, showing their support for the devastating effects COVID-19 has had. Gordon and the Team over at Tech LED Ltd utilised our LEDJ Spectra QX40 Pixel exterior fixtures to illuminate the building.
Tech LED are suppliers and distributors of LED lighting, specialising in projects for large chain clients including the Holiday Inn, Travelodge, G Casinos, BBC and ITV. They also offer a full design and install service for super yachts, custom built stages and more.
For #LightitInRed Tech LED decided the LEDJ Spectra QX40 Pixel exterior fixture would be the perfect choice to illuminate Production Park due to its powerful output of rich saturated hues - The red chosen for this project really popped! They also liked the flexibility of this IP65 rated rugged unit, as it not only offers wireless DMX control and pixel zone mapping to create stunning effects, but it also has a whole host of optional accessories available including beam shaping lenses, barn door and snoot.

#LightItInRed is a UK based direct action lighting initiative that took place on the night of Monday 6 July 2020 drawing attention to the critical condition of the UK live event and entertainment industry and its need for special government support to see it through to re-starting. The governments care package is a step in the right direction however we need to ensure the support reaches every part of our industry from suppliers through to designers, stage crew and technicians.
