Product InformationThe Acme CA M26 eliminates the need for two separate units to split and merge DMX signals, this 19", 1U rackable unit does it all as well as boosting the DMX signal.
2 DMX inputs and 6 DMX outputs, each equipped with both 3 pin and 5 pin XLR connectors for compatibility in any DMX setup and 100% electrical isolation between all in/outputs. The booster function analyses the incoming DMX data and re-constructs it before boosting it allowing it to be pushed further down DMX lines without signal problems.
DMX merging is offered in two different ways: (1) HTP: The highest value of 2 identical channels from 2 DMX signals will have priority. (2) Backup: When the DMX signal on input A fails, the DMX signal in input B takes over immediately. (3) Merger: DMX signals from two different controllers can be combined and sent down a single cable, you can then select the start address for the second controller.
The splitter function distributes the DMX signal(s) from the input(s) over 6 identical outputs that are 100% isolated from each other: Any problems that may occur on any output will not interfere with the other outputs.
Timing of the DMX outputs can be selected from 23ms to 45ms to allow greater compatibility when connecting "slow" DMX fixtures to "fast" DMX controllers. If in the event of DMX signal failure on both DMX inputs the output behavior can be selected.
Null: No DMX signal on the outputs
Hold: Holds the last DMX values on the outputs
Clear: Sets all the DMX values on all outputs to zero
